In my classroom, I believe that it is very important and beneficial to connect with our larger school community! Throughout the year, I would love to have parents and volunteers come in often to share about different cultures, careers, languages, etc. It is very important for our students to be exposed to diversity and this is a great way to both do that and connect with the larger school community. If this is something you are interested in, please contact me! I plan to stay in constant contact with parents and families regarding positive behaviors, academic successes, good social skills, etc. I also would love to talk with families to know how I can best support them and their students alike. We will have a classroom newsletter sent out every week for updates on our class as a whole. We will also have a class dojo, where parents can see progress and photos throughout the day. Lastly, I am here to communicate with families whenever, as I am here to help you and your child succeed! I am also more than willing to show up and be there for your student outside of school. If you send me a schedule for extracurricular activities, games, performances, etc. I will be so excited to come to as many as my schedule allows!
